Traiguera & Cervera del Maestre Excursion

At 9:30 am, we'll meet in front of the Peniscola Tourist Office and head to Traiguera. The journey will take around 30 minutes.

The first stop will be a visit to a thousand-year-old olive tree farm. Here, we'll learn about the care these trees require, how olives are harvested, and the olive oil production process. Participants will taste the olive oil accompanied by cold meats from the local area.

After 1 hour in the olive grove, we'll proceed to Cervera del Maestre for a guided tour of the main monuments, including the Church of the Assumption, the Baroque bell tower, and the old Medieval market. We will also stop outside the 12th-century castle and visit the Oil Mill Visitor Centre.

Next, we'll return to Traiguera to visit the Royal Sanctuary Virgen Fuente de la Salud. During this exploration, we will walk through different rooms, from the old pilgrims' hostel to the medieval hermitage, and observe the frescoes throughout the complex.

The excursion will conclude at 2 pm at our starting point in Peniscola.
