Traiguera & Cervera del Maestre Excursion

At 9:30 am, we'll meet in front of the Peniscola Tourist Office and head to Traiguera. The journey will take around 30 minutes by minibus or coach.

The first stop will be a visit to a thousand-year-old olive tree farm, where we'll learn about the care of these trees, how olives are harvested, and the olive oil production process. Tasting olive oil accompanied by local cold meats will be included.

After 1 hour in the olive grove, we'll head to Cervera del Maestre for a guided tour to see main monuments, including the Church of the Assumption, the Baroque bell tower, and the old Medieval market. We will stop outside the 12th-century castle and visit the Oil Mill Visitor Centre.

Next, we will return to Traiguera to visit the Royal Sanctuary Virgen Fuente de la Salud. During the exploration, we will walk through different rooms, from the old pilgrims' hostel to the medieval hermitage, and admire the frescoes of this religious complex.

The excursion will finish at 2 pm back at our starting point in Peniscola.
