Day Trip to Valencia
The journey begins with a pickup from the Peñíscola Tourist Office at 8:30 am, where we will board a comfortable bus headed for Valencia, a pivotal urban center in Spain. After approximately one hour and 45 minutes of travel, we will arrive at our destination, ready for an extensive exploration of its more modern district.
Our adventure commences with a bus tour that lasts about an hour, highlighting several iconic structures, including the City of Arts and Sciences, the Palau de la Música, and other impressive "third millennium" buildings.
The excursion continues into the historical heart of Valencia, featuring a walking tour designed to unveil the city's past, showcased by landmarks such as the Central Market, the Church of Santos Juanes, and the Estación del Norte.
Additionally, we will visit the renowned Lonja de la Seda, appreciating its exquisite architecture, and tour the magnificent Cathedral of Valencia, whose bell tower is famously named Torre del Micalet.
At 1 pm, you will have the afternoon free to savor the local Valencian cuisine and further discover the city's many attractions at your own pace.
We will reconvene at 5 pm next to the Serrano Towers to begin our return journey to Peñíscola, arriving back at approximately 7:30 pm.
