After picking you up at your accommodation at the indicated time, we will depart for the Quindío Botanical Garden, approximately one hour and fifteen minutes from Pereira.

The main path is two kilometers long, leading us to significant areas of the garden. We will visit the Butterfly Farm, where we can observe around 1,500 butterflies flitting among nectariferous flowers.

Continuing along the path, we will find various native birds observable from three viewing points within the Botanical Garden. This location serves as the natural heart of the Colombian coffee region.

The palm tree is the region's characteristic species. In the garden, we will explore the National Collection of Colombian Palms, seeing 210 out of the 255 species native to Colombia.

During our tour of the garden, we can visit the Ethnobotanical Museum of Palms, the Insect Museum, and the Museum of Geology and Soils. We will also discover the local culture at the Museum of the Crossing of the Andes of Quindío.

The excursion concludes with our return to your hotel after five to six hours of sightseeing.
