On this tour to the Finca Recuca, you'll discover the coffee-making process. Activities include walking through the plantations, participating in the harvest, and practicing the "coffee rite".

Pick-up will be at your hotel in Pereira at the selected time to head to the Finca Recuca for the Coffee Culture Tour.

Upon entering the farm, you will take on the role of muleteers and "chapoleras". Dressed in typical clothing, a half-hour walk along the Coffee Trail will allow you to explore the coffee plantations and learn about coffee cultivation. You will participate in a simulation of coffee picking and make a simulated payment for your product.

Next, you will experience the post-harvest process. After gathering your coffee, you will visit the 'grandparents mill' and 'organic mill' to see how the grain is processed.

You will also learn about Recuca’s "coffee rite" with locals, including how to prepare and drink it. The tour concludes with a cup of authentic Recuca Exportación coffee.

Your excursion will last four to five hours before returning to your hotel in Pereira.
