Private Tour of Pereira
Your tour starts with pickup from your hotel at your chosen time. Pereira is located 155 miles (250 kilometers) from Bogotá, in the center of the Coffee Triangle. You'll explore iconic places with historical and cultural significance, beginning with Avenida Circunvalar, known as the 'pink zone', featuring shops, bars, hotels, and restaurants.
Next, we visit Plaza de Bolívar, the city's main shopping area, where you can admire the Bolívar Desnudo monument. Close by is the Cathedral of Our Lady of Poverty, a neoclassical building with renovations due to past earthquakes, featuring 13,503 wooden planks supporting the ceiling.
The tour continues to Plaza de la Concordia, also called Parque Lago Uribe, a historical site now home to public buildings, restaurants, and shops. Your guide will provide insights into the history of the Coffee Triangle and local customs while you sample local flavors, including coffee.
After 3 hours of touring Pereira, you'll be taken back to your hotel.
