Private Tour of Pereira
Your tour begins with a pick-up from your hotel at your preferred time. Pereira is located 155 miles (250 kilometers) from Bogotá and is central to the Coffee Triangle.
With your guide, you'll explore significant historical and cultural landmarks. The first stop is Avenida Circunvalar, known as the 'pink zone', filled with shops, bars, and restaurants.
Next, you will visit Plaza de Bolívar, the main shopping area, where you can admire the Bolívar Desnudo monument.
Nearby is the Cathedral of Our Lady of Poverty, a neoclassical building that has undergone renovations due to earthquakes. Inside, 13,503 wooden planks support the ceiling.
The tour continues to Plaza de la Concordia, also known as Parque Lago Uribe, which has hosted celebrations and battles, now home to public buildings, restaurants, and shops.
Your guide will provide insights on the history of the Coffee Triangle and local customs, and you will have the opportunity to sample the local coffee.
After 3 hours of touring Pereira, you will be returned to your hotel.
