Description
In the heart of Perth, the Bell Tower reaches 82.5 metres (270 feet) in height and has become one of the main symbols of this Australian city. This architectural structure houses 12 original bells that ring like those of St Martin-in-the-Fields church in London, first made in 1725. Australia has added six more bells, including the ANZAC bell, weighing 6,500 kg (14,330 lb), which is expected to last over 500 years.
This ticket grants access to the exhibition detailing the history of the bell tower and the ancient art of bell ringing. Additionally, you can climb to the viewpoint at the top of the tower for views of Perth and the River Swan.
Bell Tower Guided Tour
You can enhance your visit by choosing an option that includes a 30-minute guided tour in English. This includes access to the exhibitions, the viewpoint, and the opportunity to play the bells, one of the largest musical instruments in the world.
Schedule
The Bell Tower is open Tuesday - Sunday from 10 am - 4 pm, with final access at 3:45 pm.Guided visits in English occur every day the tower is open.
