Tour of Petra

Pickup will occur at the time indicated at your hotel in Petra or Wadi Musa, followed by travel to the ancient capital of the Nabataeans. The tour begins with a ride into the great Siq or Petra Gorge, known for its scenes in Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade.

Upon passing through the gorge, we will view the facade of the Khazné or Treasury of Petra, believed to have been an ancient mausoleum, among other theories. After a three to four-hour guided tour, you will have free time to explore further, including the royal tombs of the Nabataeans and insights into their historical significance to the Roman Empire.

Following the tour of Petra, we will dine at a local restaurant, allowing for one hour free for lunch. The day concludes with a return to your hotel, approximately 9 - 10 hours after the start of the activity.

This activity includes pickup from hotels in Petra and Wadi Musa. For those staying in Little Petra, there is an additional fee based on the number of participants on the day of the tour.
