Your journey will commence with a pickup at your hotel in Petra or Wadi Musa as indicated. From there, prepare to embark on a captivating exploration of the ancient capital established by the Nabataeans. Are you ready to uncover one of Jordan's most treasured archaeological sites?

The adventure kicks off with a ride into the majestic Siq or Petra Gorge. Did you realize that parts of the film Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade were shot in this stunning narrow gorge? You may recall the scenes featuring Indiana Jones as he sought the Holy Grail!

After passing through the gorge, we will take in the breathtaking view of the Khazné or Treasury of Petra. This impressive rock-carved monument is believed to be an ancient mausoleum, although alternative theories exist regarding its original purpose.

Following a guided exploration lasting three to four hours, you'll have the chance to wander freely around Petra, providing an ideal moment to visit the royal tombs of the Nabataeans. What are the stories behind these ancient desert dwellers? What significance did their capital hold for the Roman Empire?

After your tour of Petra and its stunning surroundings, we will make our way to a nearby restaurant, where you will enjoy one hour of free time for lunch.
