Ayutthaya Day Trip

  • 10 Stunden - 1 Tag

Description

This day trip to Ayutthaya begins at National Stadium BTS Station between 7:30 am and 8 am. We'll visit the Bang Pa-In Royal Palace, the former Thai King's summer residence, known for its golden pagodas and serene pools. Next, we'll explore the ancient ruins of Ayutthaya, the second capital of the Siamese Kingdom founded in 1350. The city was destroyed by the Burmese army in 1767, leaving behind ancient structures and tree roots intertwined with Buddha heads. After lunch at a local restaurant, we'll visit religious sites like Wat Mahathat, Wat Mongkol Borpit, Wat Phra Sri Sanphet, and Wat Chaiwatthanaram, known for its Thai Buddhist chedis monument. The tour ends back in Bangkok.
