Tour Details
We will meet at Elefin Coffee on Maha Rat Street at the indicated time. After a brief introduction, we will head to the pier to start this boat trip through the canals of Bangkok.
We will board a traditional long-tail boat and sail through the waters of Bangkok, sharing interesting facts about local life and traditions.
A stop will be made at the Artist's House, or Baan Silapin, a traditional residence with a museum of Thai art. This old wooden building, over 200 years old and restored by its owner, is picturesque.
Along the way, we will visit Wat Paknam Bhasicharoen, a temple built during the Krungsri Ayudhya period, located on the banks of the Bangkok Yai canal. Here, we can admire the Big Buddha, which stands at 60 metres (196 ft). Its construction was completed in 2021. We will discuss the temple's name, which relates to its canal location.
After a total of 2 hours, we will return to the starting point, concluding the boat tour.
Partial Closures
Due to construction until June 2025, we can only view the Big Buddha from the outside.
