Istrian Culinary Experience

Your adventure begins with a pick-up from your accommodation in Piran at 9 am, as we embark on our first stop, Hum.

Are you ready to savor the delights of the Istrian Peninsula? This experience invites you to discover the region’s rich culinary heritage while strolling through some of the most picturesque villages in the area, including Hum, recognized as the smallest city in the world. Here, in addition to exploring its charming streets, you’ll also learn about biska, a traditional herbal brandy.

Our journey continues to Motovun, a medieval settlement renowned for its stunning architecture, including the impressive bell tower of St. Stephen's Church. A highlight of this area is the prized white truffle, which thrives in its surrounding woodlands.

Afterward, we’ll visit a local restaurant where a skilled chef will guide us in preparing a dish that features ingredients native to the region. Once we finish our culinary activity, we’ll depart Motovun and head towards Grozhnjan.

In Grozhnjan, we’ll discover the scenic village while learning about the local wine and olive oil production. Our day concludes as we return to Piran around 5 pm.
