Lipica & Skocjan Caves Tour

After picking you up from your hotel in Portorož at 9 am, we'll drive to Lipica, located about 40 minutes away. This town is the birthplace of the famous Lipizzaner white horses. Let's meet these noble animals!

Upon arrival in Lipica, we'll enter one of the most important stud farms in the country to learn about these horses, one of Slovenia's emblematic symbols. We will explore their daily care, feeding, and environment.

During the tour of the Lipica stud farm, you'll have time to get up close to the Lipizzaner horses, visit the Lipikum Museum, and attend a horse show if desired.

After the farm tour, we'll proceed to the Skocjan Caves, a UNESCO World Heritage Site often referred to as "the Underground Grand Canyon". Here, we will observe the unique karst formations along the Reka River.

At the end of the tour, you'll be returned to your hotel in Portorož at 2 pm.
