Parenzana Trail Bike Tour

At 9 am, we'll pick you up from your hotel in Portorož and drive by minibus to Koper to start this bike tour along the famous Parenzana Trail, also known as the Route of Peace and Friendship.

The Parenzana Trail connects Slovenia, Croatia, and Italy, traversing the landscapes of the Istrian peninsula. You'll learn about its history, created to enhance trade among the regions.

We'll stop in Izola, where we will embark on a guided tour of Izola to explore key monuments, including the port and the St Maurus Parish Church.

Afterward, we will continue cycling along the Parenzana Trail, passing a salt evaporation pond to understand its significance to the Slovenian economy, and ride through one of the route’s tunnels.

The tour concludes with a delicious lunch and wine at a local restaurant, followed by the return ride to the starting point.

Arrival back in Portorož is around 2 pm.
