Postojna Cave & Predjama Castle Day Trip

Pickup from your hotel in Piran is scheduled for 9 am, followed by a minibus ride to Postojna. The journey takes you past the Slovene border to the Postojna Cave, renowned for its beauty. After an hour's drive, we'll explore the cave, observing various rock formations, including stalagmites that are 5 meters long.

We will continue our adventure by taking a little train within the cave to reach areas inaccessible by foot. Highlights include Murano glass chandeliers, a ballroom, and sightings of olms, also known as the 'dragon's offspring'.

Next, we will visit Predjama Castle, a medieval fortress located on a cliff, rich in legends, including the story of Erasmus of Predjama, referred to as the Slovenian Robin Hood.

After the tour concludes, we will return to Piran and drop you off at your hotel around 2 pm.
