Socerb, Hrastovlje & Marezige Day Trip

Pickup will be at your hotel in Portoroz at 9 am for a journey to Socerb, located 30 kilometres to the east. After a half-hour drive, we will explore this traditional Slovenian village.

The tour in Socerb begins with a visit to its castle, an imposing fortress offering panoramic views of the Gulf of Trieste and a rich historical narrative. We will then explore the Holy Cave, Slovenia's only underground sanctuary.

Next, we will head to Hrastovlje to visit the Church of the Holy Trinity, a 13th-century temple fortified by a large wall, renowned for the Dance Macabre fresco inside.

The final stop will be Marezige, a place to experience Slovenia's wine and olive culture. We will visit a farm to taste local olive oil paired with traditional snacks.

The tour will conclude back in Portorož at approximately 5 pm.
