Socerb, Hrastovlje & Marezige Day Trip

We'll pick you up at your hotel in Piran at 9 am and embark on an excursion to discover the culture and history of Slovenia through its traditional villages.

First, we'll travel to Socerb, located 30 minutes away. We will explore the medieval charm of this town by visiting its castle, situated at the highest point. From here, we'll enjoy views of the Gulf of Trieste and visit the Holy Cave, the only underground sanctuary in the country.

The next stop will be Hrastovlje, home to the Church of the Holy Trinity. This 12th-century temple features significant Gothic frescoes, including the Dance Macabre, and is surrounded by a protective wall against Turkish incursions.

Finally, we will visit Marezige, a village amid vineyards and olive trees. We will tour an olive oil farm and sample its typical products to appreciate the significance of these traditions in Slovenia.

The tour will conclude at 4 pm at your hotel in Piran.
