Tour of Piran + Wine Tasting

On this tour of Piran, you'll visit iconic landmarks in this Slovenian coastal gem and enjoy a wine tasting along with an appetizer!

Tour Details

At the indicated time, we'll meet at Tartini Square to start our guided tour of Piran. We will share the history of our meeting point, which was once a port, and discuss the Venetian-style architecture of the surrounding buildings, particularly highlighting the Veneziana House.

Next, we will visit the Minorite Monastery of St. Francis, a building over 700 years old, offering views of the almost untouched Piran Walls.

Continuing, we will explore two of Piran's highest viewpoints: St. George's Church, whose tower reaches 154 feet (47 meters), and Piran's Lighthouse, providing a panoramic view of the Adriatic Sea.

After the viewpoints, we will check out First of May Square, popular among locals. We will then stop at a gourmet store for a tasting of two glasses of wine and an appetizer of salami, truffles, olive oil, and bread. This is a fitting way to conclude your tour.

We'll end our tour at the starting point two hours after the activity begins.
