Hiking at Cascada do Abade and Parque dos Pirineus

We'll see beautiful natural landscapes and waterfalls on this hiking tour of the Cascada do Abade waterfall and Parque dos Pirineus.

Description

At the indicated time, we'll leave your hotel in Pirenópolis and venture towards the Trilha do Vale hiking route.

Once here, we'll start a 4.5 km (2.8 miles) medium-difficulty hiking route. Our first stop will be Cascada do Abade waterfall, one of the most visited in the region, which is 22 metres (72 feet) tall with a crystal-clear pool surrounded by lush vegetation.

After admiring this fall, we'll continue to other waterfalls, including Cânion, Landi, and Sossego. Then, we'll take a break to enjoy the lunch you have brought with you. Afterwards, we'll continue walking to the Parque dos Pireneus.

In this protected area, we'll head to the Pico dos Pirineus, which at 1,300 metres (4265 feet) tall, is the tallest mountain in state of Goiás. From its peak, you can enjoy a magical sunset.

Finally, we'll walk back to the starting point of the hike. The vehicle will be waiting for us here to take you back to Pirenópolis, where we expect to arrive back at your hotel 6 hours after initial pickup.
