Rosario Waterfall Hiking Tour

Natural pools and an exuberant landscape await us on this hiking tour to the Rosario Waterfall, one of the most spectacular waterfalls in the state of Goiás.

Description

At the scheduled time, we'll collect you from your hotel in Pirenópolis and head north to the hiking trail.

Upon arrival at the trail, we'll begin a hike of approximately 1.6 kilometres (0.99 miles) at moderate difficulty, exploring the rich flora and fauna of Goiás, renowned for its biodiversity.

We'll follow the path of stones to reach the Rosario Waterfall, an ancient 42 metres (137 ft.) tall waterfall. After taking in the scenery and sounds of the water, we'll move towards the natural pool formed by the waterfall.

Here, we'll take a short break for a refreshing dip. Guests should bring a packed lunch to enjoy after swimming. Once we finish our meal, we'll continue exploring the area surrounding the waterfall for additional sights.

Finally, we'll return to the trail's starting point and head back to Pirenópolis, with an expected return time of around 6 hours.
