Vargem Grande Reserve Waterfalls Hike

On this hiking tour of the Vargem Grande Reserve waterfalls, we'll see the Santa Maria, Lázaro, and Véu de Noiva waterfalls, three notable waterfalls in Goiás.

Description

At the scheduled time, we'll collect you from your hotel in Pirenópolis and head to the northern part of the city to the Vargem Grande Ecological Reserve.

We'll begin the hiking route around the waterfalls within Vargem Grande. This lower-difficulty trail spans 3.5 kilometres (2.17 miles), revealing a vibrant landscape and stunning waterfalls.

Our first stop will be the Santa Maria Waterfall, where we can hear the water's impact on the rocks. Afterward, we will proceed to the Lázaro Waterfall, known for its natural pool suitable for a refreshing dip.

Next, we will pause for a meal; please remember to bring your picnic. After a brief rest, we will continue to the Véu de Noiva Waterfall, where we will learn about its name.

Finally, from Véu de Noiva, we will return to the starting point where our vehicle will be ready to take us back to Pirenópolis. We anticipate arriving back approximately 5 hours after the initial pickup time.
