Vargem Grande Reserve Waterfalls Hike

On this hiking tour of the Vargem Grande Reserve waterfalls, we'll see the Santa Maria, Lázaro, and Véu de Noiva waterfalls in Goiás.

Description

At the scheduled time, we'll collect you from your hotel in Pirenópolis and head to the Vargem Grande Ecological Reserve.

Here, we'll start the hiking route around the waterfalls on a lower-difficulty trail, hiking a total of 3.5 kilometres (2.17 miles) to explore the lush landscape featuring these waterfalls.

We will first reach the Santa Maria Waterfall, where we can hear the water impact. Following this, we'll proceed to the Lázaro Waterfall, known for its natural pool, allowing time for a refreshing dip.

A stop will be made for a meal. Participants should bring a picnic. After resting for a few minutes, we will head to the Véu de Noiva Waterfall, where the reason for its name will be revealed.

Eventually, we will return to the starting point where our vehicle will be waiting to take us back to Pirenópolis, expected to arrive around 5 hours after the initial pickup.
