Pisa Cathedral, Baptistery & Leaning Tower Tour Itinerary

After meeting your guide by the Porta Santa Maria archway, you'll enter the Piazza dei Miracoli. You'll visit the Pisa Cathedral, also known as the Duomo, where you'll learn about its 11th-century history and admire its artworks, mosaics, paintings, and sculptures.

Next, you will have a guided tour of the Baptistery, dedicated to St John the Baptist, which is the largest Catholic baptistry in the world and a UNESCO World Heritage Site. The tour concludes at the Leaning Tower of Pisa, where your guide will discuss its history and tilt.

If you book the tour with the entrance to the Leaning Tower, you’ll receive tickets to the Museo delle Sinopie and the Museo Opera del Duomo at the end of the tour.

Climb the Leaning Tower of Pisa

When reserving, you can include the option to climb the Leaning Tower of Pisa. This will require an additional hour after the guided tour to reach the top and enjoy the views. You must select this option to participate in the climb.

Allow at least 1 additional hour for storing your belongings and the climbing tour.

Children Under 8

Children under 8 are not allowed to climb the Leaning Tower for safety reasons.

Visit to the Baptistery

If the Baptistery is closed due to celebrations or renovations, the visit will be substituted with a tour of the Monumental Cemetery of Pisa.

2025 Jubilee

During the 2025 Jubilee, the Cathedral may be closed or only partially accessible, requiring guides to provide explanations from outside on certain occasions, including Sunday mornings.
