Pisa Cathedral, Baptistery & Leaning Tower Tour Itinerary

After meeting your guide at the Porta Santa Maria archway, you'll enter the renowned Piazza dei Miracoli. You'll pass the Camposanto and learn about this iconic square. The first stop will be the Pisa Cathedral (Duomo), where you will explore its 11th-century history and admire various artworks, including mosaics, frescoes, and sculptures.

Next, you will have a guided tour of the Baptistery, dedicated to St John the Baptist, which is a UNESCO World Heritage Site. This is the largest Catholic baptistery worldwide.

Your 2-hour tour concludes at the Leaning Tower of Pisa. Your guide will discuss its architecture and historical significance, including its lean and connections to Galileo. If you book the tour with entrance to the tower, you will receive tickets to the Museo delle Sinopie and Museo Opera del Duomo at the end of the tour.

Climb the Leaning Tower of Pisa

You can include the option to climb the Leaning Tower when making your reservation. After the guided tour, you will have an additional hour to reach the top and enjoy the views of the city. Please select this option to participate in the climb.

Children under 8

Children under 8 are not permitted to climb the leaning tower for safety reasons.

Visit to the Baptistery

Please be aware that access to the Baptistery may be restricted during baptisms or renovations, in which case the Monumental Cemetery of Pisa will be visited instead.
