Pisa Cathedral, Baptistery & Leaning Tower Tour Itinerary

After meeting your guide by the Porta Santa Maria archway, you'll enter the famous Piazza dei Miracoli. You'll explore the Pisa Cathedral (Duomo), learning about its 11th-century construction and admiring the artworks, mosaics, paintings, frescoes, sculptures, and the pulpit. The next stop will be the Baptistery, dedicated to St John the Baptist and a UNESCO World Heritage Site, noted for being the largest Catholic baptistery in the world. The tour concludes at the Leaning Tower of Pisa, where the guide will share insights about its architecture and history. Tour participants who book tickets for the Leaning Tower will also receive tickets for the Museo delle Sinopie and the Museo Opera del Duomo.

Climb the Leaning Tower of Pisa

When making your reservation, you can include an option to climb the Leaning Tower. This must be selected for access; otherwise, the climb will not occur. After the guided tour, participants can enjoy spectacular views from the top of the tower.

Children under 8

For safety reasons, children under the age of 8 are not permitted to climb the leaning tower.

Visit to the Baptistery

If baptisms occur in the Baptistery or if renovations are taking place, access to the monument will be unavailable. In this case, a visit to the Monumental Cemetery of Pisa will be arranged as a substitute.
