Pisa Food Tour

At 11:30 am we'll meet in Piazza Garibaldi, next to the Garibaldi statue, where our local guide will be waiting for us. This gastronomic expert will accompany us on a discovery of Pisa's culinary tradition.

We'll start by strolling through the streets of the historic centre, in search of the most traditional flavours of the local cuisine. We'll taste a platter of Tuscan cheeses and cold cuts with wine in one of the oldest wine shops in Pisa, along with a portion of cecina, a thin focaccia made with chickpea flour.

During the tour, we'll discover restaurants known only to locals, where we'll taste typical dishes of Pisa's gastronomy, including Tuscan soup, mucco pisano, sausage with beans all'uccelletto, and the famous ribollita, prepared with bread and vegetables.

Finally, we'll enjoy some ice cream made with local and seasonal products. A sweet note to conclude this food experience!
