Pisa Food Tour

At 11:30 am we'll meet in Piazza Garibaldi, next to the Garibaldi statue, where our local guide will be waiting for us. This gastronomic expert will accompany us on a discovery of Pisa's culinary tradition.

We'll start by strolling through the historic centre, tasting the most traditional flavours of the local cuisine. Experience a platter of Tuscan cheeses and cold cuts paired with a good glass of wine in one of the oldest wine shops in Pisa. A portion of cecina, a very thin focaccia made with chickpea flour, is a must.

During the tour, we'll visit restaurants known only to locals, sampling typical dishes of Pisa's gastronomy, such as Tuscan soup, mucco pisano, sausage with beans all'uccelletto, and the famous ribollita, a traditional dish prepared with bread and vegetables.

We'll conclude with ice cream featuring refined flavours made from local and seasonal products. A sweet note to end this food experience.
