Pisa Food Tour

At 11:30 am, we will meet in Piazza Garibaldi, next to the Garibaldi statue, where our local guide will be waiting. This gastronomic expert will lead us through Pisa's culinary tradition.

We will stroll through the historic centre, seeking the traditional flavours of local cuisine. The tour includes tasting a platter of Tuscan cheeses and cold cuts paired with wine in one of the oldest wine shops in Pisa. A portion of cecina, a thin focaccia made with chickpea flour, is also a must-try.

During the tour, we will visit restaurants known only to locals, sampling typical dishes of Pisa’s gastronomy, including Tuscan soup, mucco pisano, sausage with beans all’uccelletto, and the famous ribollita, a traditional dish made with bread and vegetables.

The experience concludes with a tasting of ice cream featuring refined flavours made from local and seasonal products. The tour lasts for 3 hours and 30 minutes.
