Pisa Food Tour

At 11:30 am we'll meet in Piazza Garibaldi, next to the Garibaldi statue, where our local guide will be waiting for us. This gastronomic expert will accompany us on a discovery of Pisa's culinary tradition.

We'll start by strolling through the streets of the historic centre, in search of the most traditional flavours of the local cuisine. We will enjoy a platter of Tuscan cheeses and cold cuts paired with a good glass of wine at one of the oldest wine shops in Pisa. Additionally, we will try cecina, a thin focaccia made with chickpea flour, essential to Pisan gastronomy.

During the tour, we will visit local restaurants to taste typical dishes of Pisa's gastronomy, including Tuscan soup, mucco pisano, sausage with beans all'uccelletto, and ribollita, a traditional dish made with bread and vegetables.

Finally, we will enjoy some ice cream made with local and seasonal products, concluding our food experience on a sweet note.

After 3 hours and 30 minutes of exploring, the tour will end.
