On this trip to Monfragüe, you will spend a day in the middle of nature and discover the species of birds in one of the most idyllic settings in Extremadura.

Monfragüe Tour

We will meet at the scheduled location and time before heading to Monfragüe National Park to begin our tour of this wilderness.

After a 20-minute bus journey, we will arrive at this nature spot known in the region. There, we will begin a hike through the Mediterranean forest and the pasturelands of Cáceres, carefully conserved as a biosphere reserve.

During the tour of approximately 4 hours, you will witness the valley formed by the rivers Tiétar and Tajo. You will also see different species of birds of prey gliding above Monfragüe. Whether you are a lover of bird watching or not, you will enjoy this walk through one of Europe’s ecological treasures.

Here, it is possible to see black swans, egyptian vultures, black vultures, peregrine falcons, and imperial eagles with the optical equipment provided. At the end of the trip, we will take you back to the center of Plasencia.
