Advanced Diving with Bull Sharks

In this advanced scuba diving activity, we will dive with bull sharks in Playa del Carmen, providing an exceptional experience for experienced divers.

Advanced Diving with Bull Sharks

We will meet at the scheduled time at the dive center located at 10 Norte Avenue and 2 Norte Street in Playa del Carmen. Here, we will put on wetsuits and gather dive equipment.

Once prepared, we will walk to the Playa del Carmen pier to board a speedboat that will take us across the Caribbean Sea to our dive site. The underwater experience will be unique.

From the speedboat, we will enter the water and begin our diving activity with bull sharks. From November to the end of February, female sharks visit these warm waters to give birth.

We will enjoy a first dive for 30 minutes at a depth of 24 meters (80 feet) to observe bull sharks. After this, we will return to the boat and move to another dive site for a shorter second dive where we will see a coral reef.

Afterwards, we will head back to Playa del Carmen, disembarking at the pier and returning to the dive center about three hours after departure.

Important to Note

To participate, you must have an Advanced Open Water Diver certificate or equivalent, allowing you to dive to a maximum depth of 30 meters (100 feet).
