Advanced Diving with Bull Sharks

In this advanced scuba diving activity, we will enjoy a dive with bull sharks in Playa del Carmen, providing a unique experience for seasoned divers.

Advanced Diving with Bull Sharks

We will meet at the scheduled time at the dive center located at 10 Norte Avenue and 2 Norte Street in Playa del Carmen. There, we will dress in wetsuits and gather the necessary diving equipment.

Once prepared, we will walk to the pier of Playa del Carmen to board a speed boat. This boat will take us across the Caribbean Sea to an ideal dive site. The underwater experience will be exceptional.

From the speedboat, we will enter the water and begin our diving activity with bull sharks. From November to the end of February, female bull sharks come to the warm waters of the Mexican Caribbean to give birth.

We will have a first dive lasting 30 minutes to a depth of 24 meters (80 feet) to observe bull sharks. After this, we will return to the boat and travel to another dive site for a second, shorter dive to see a coral reef.

Following the dives, we will return to Playa del Carmen, disembarking at the pier and arriving back at the dive center three hours after departure.

Important to Note

Participation in this activity requires an international Advanced Open Water Diver certificate or similar, certifying participants to dive to a maximum depth of 30 meters (100 feet).
