Tour of Plitvice Lakes National Park

If you love nature, you can't miss this tour of the Plitvice Lakes National Park, the biggest in all of Croatia. You'll love getting to know its 16 lakes with crystal-clear water and waterfalls!

Tour Details

At the designated time, we'll meet at the entrance to the Plitvice Lakes National Park. Once we've arrived, we'll begin this trip around the "water paradise." We'll first hop on a shuttle bus or train to one of the tallest points in the park, where we'll enjoy scenic views of the 30000 hectares that make up this park, including 16 lakes, streams, and waterfalls.

After taking some essential keepsake photos, we'll begin our descent towards the lakes. During our approximately 4 to 8-kilometre (2.5 to 4.97-mile) hike, we'll observe how the lakes' colours transform from emerald to turquoise. Keep an eye out for the biggest waterfall in the park, with a 76-kilometre (47-mile) drop!

The hike will take us first to the lower lakes, where you'll find the four main lakes. After exploring this area, we'll head to the upper lakes, known for their scientifically important biodynamic ecosystem.

Our hike will conclude at the port, where we'll board a boat for a 15-minute ride. The great waterfall and the surrounding trees create a beautiful scene. Once the boat ride ends, our tour of the Plitvice Lakes National Park will conclude after a total of 4 hours.
