Tour Details
At the designated time, we'll meet at the entrance to the Plitvice Lakes National Park. Once we've arrived, we'll begin this trip around the "water paradise." Do you know why it's called this? Find out on this tour!
We'll first hop on a shuttle bus or train to one of the tallest points in the Plitvice Lakes National Park. Here, we'll enjoy views of the 30,000 hectares that make up this park, including 16 lakes and a number of streams and waterfalls.
After taking some essential photos, we'll begin our descent towards the lakes. During our approximately 4 to 8-kilometre (2.5 to 4.97-mile) hike, we'll see how the lakes' colours transform throughout the day, from emerald to turquoise. Don't forget to look out for the biggest waterfall in the park, which has a 76-meter (250-foot) drop!
The hike will first take us to discover the lower lakes, where you'll find the four main lakes. After exploring this area, we'll head to the upper lakes, known for their biodynamic ecosystem.
Our hike will conclude at the port, where we'll board a boat for a 15-minute ride. The great waterfall and beautiful trees create a scenic view.
Once the boat ride ends, so will our tour of the Plitvice Lakes National Park, after a total of 4 hours.
