Parque Norte & Centenario Tour

On this excursion to Parque Norte and Centenario, we will enjoy views of Neuquén and visit a farm to learn about local agriculture and livestock.

Parque Norte & Centenario Tour

At 2 pm, we will pick you up at your hotel in Neuquén and drive to the highest point of the city.

We will visit Parque Norte, a nature reserve that protects the native flora and fauna of the Patagonian desert or steppe. From its viewpoint, there are views of Neuquén and the neighboring Cipolleti, allowing recognition of the main historical buildings of Neuquén.

Our next stop will be in the town of Centenario, where we will visit a chacra, or small rural farm, to see the agricultural products they grow and the methods they use. We will hear about the story of the first settlers of Centenario.

The last part of the visit will be at a location where you can have a snack on your own. Centenario is known for fairs of local producers. If a fair is open on the day of the tour, we will visit it.

Finally, we will return to Neuquén and drop you off at your hotel around 7 pm.
