On this excursion to Vaca Muerta, we will explore one of the most famous oil fields in Argentina and see the vineyards of Neuquén.

Vaca Muerta Tour

Pickup will be at your hotel at 9 am to begin a sightseeing tour of Neuquén, the capital of the province.

Next, we will visit the Vaca Muerta oil field, located in parts of the Patagonian plateau in Neuquén and southern Mendoza. This tour will provide insight into the geological formation from which oil and gas are extracted, including discussions on the controversy surrounding these extraction activities.

Following the visit to Vaca Muerta, we will pass through the vineyards of Neuquén, known for their young wineries that encourage wine tourism. You will have the opportunity to see some of the most famous vineyards in Patagonia and, if desired, stop at one for lunch at their restaurant.

We will then continue back to Neuquén, concluding the tour at your hotel at 4 pm.
