On the day of your tour, you'll be picked up from your hotel in Podgorica at the scheduled time for an hour-long bus journey to the Ostrog Monastery. The drive through the Danilovgrad Valley offers views of the Montenegro countryside.

Upon arriving, you will climb up to Ostroška Greda, a large rock that overlooks the region, providing views over the valley and the Ostrog Monastery, which is built into the rock face. This historic pilgrimage center is significant in the Balkans.

As you exit the bus, you will appreciate the natural landscapes and the size of Ostrog Monastery. Your guide will share the history of the site and answer questions about features such as the blankets scattered around. You will also see the fountain inside the monastery, known for its healing properties.
