Boat to Tambo Island

Tour Details

At the designated time, we'll set sail south from Combarro Marina. After a 15-minute journey, we'll disembark at Tambo Pier, an uninhabited island that preserves its environmental heritage.

Once we disembark, we'll embark on a walking tour of Tambo Island for 3 hours, enjoying views from Area da Illa Beach and A Dreidá Beach, known for their fine white sand and deep blue Atlantic Ocean. The tour includes visits to notable sites such as the San Miguel Hermitage, Tenlo Lighthouse, and the remains of an ancient lazaretto. You'll also learn about the famous Pedra da Parabé.

Finally, we'll sail back from Tambo Pier to Combarro Marina, concluding the activity at 2 pm.

Guided Tour of Tambo Island

From May 1 to September 1, the ferry ticket includes a guided tour of Tambo Island. This tour is not available during Easter, specifically from the Friday before Easter until Easter Sunday.
