Boat Trip & Mussel Tasting on the Ría de Pontevedra

At your selected time, we will meet at the port in Combarro, where the boat will be ready for our cruise on the Ría de Pontevedra. The modern boat features an underwater viewing area to explore the marine life of the estuary.

During the cruise, we will see wooden platforms known as 'bateas' and learn their purpose.

Halfway through, we will view Tambo Island, which has remains of Iron Age settlements. From the boat, we will see its notable lighthouse with a spiral staircase.

As we continue, we will learn about the cultivation of mussels, oysters, and scallops, typical Galician delicacies.

To conclude our trip, we will enjoy a tasting of mussels and Galician wine before returning to Combarro port.
