Description
At the scheduled time, we'll begin this private tour of Poitiers at the entrance to the Norte-Dame la Grande Church.
After admiring the church, we will enter Poitier's historic centre. During the tour, we will discover stories related to the templars, Joan of Arc, and other notable figures from the history of medieval France.
We'll stop at iconic locations such as Place du Maréchal-Leclerc to view the façade of the Poitiers City Hall. The tour continues in front of St. Peter's Cathedral, where we will observe architectural details typical of the Angevin Gothic style.
As we stroll around the old town, we will learn about the first University of Poitiers and important events in Poitier's history.
After a 1.5-hour tour, we will conclude in front of the Church of Sainte-Radegonde.
