Annapurna Base Camp Trek: 6 Days from Pokhara
Day 1: Pokhara - Siwai - Chhomrong
On the first day, you will be picked up from your hotel in Pokhara. A drive to Siwai village will commence, followed by a trek towards Chhomrong, where you will spend the first night.
Day 2: Chhomrong - Sinuwa - Himalaya
On the second morning, you will follow a trail up stone steps to the Chhomrong Khola River. After crossing the river, you will ascend to Sinuwa for a rest and then trek through a forest towards Himalaya.
Day 3: Himalaya - Machapuchare - Annapurna
This day includes a visit to two mountaineering base camps. You will hike approximately four hours to Machapuchare base camp at 3700 meters, followed by a trek to Annapurna base camp at 4130 meters, the highest point of the trek.
Day 4: Annapurna - Sinuwa
After breakfast at Annapurna base camp, you will head back to Sinuwa, passing through yak farms, forests, and valleys, enjoying views of the Himalayas along the way.
Day 5: Sinuwa - Siwai - Pokhara
On the fifth day, you will retrace your steps towards Chhomrong, with a detour to visit the Jhinu Danda hot springs for relaxation. Following this, you will continue to Siwai, where a bus will take you back to Pokhara. You will be dropped off at your hotel.
Day 6: Pokhara - Katmandú
You will be picked up from your hotel in Pokhara for a drive to Kathmandu, taking approximately six to eight hours.
