Mount Faito Hike

On this trekking route, we'll see the Sorrento Peninsula, the Gulf of Salerno, and the Tyrrhenian Sea from Mount Faito's summit.

Mount Faito Hike

At the designated time, we'll pick you up from Piazza Unità d'Italia, 21 in Castellammare di Stabia and begin the drive to the Lattari Mountains Regional Park.

After about an hour's drive, we will head to Mount Faito. The activity starts with a 7-minute cable car ride to the summit of Mount Faito.

From the upper station, we will begin a 1.5-hour hiking route through lush beech forests to discover the local fauna.

The total distance of the hike is 5 miles (8 km), leading us to the top of the mountain. Along the route, we will encounter several viewpoints showcasing the Sorrento Peninsula and Mount Vesuvius, with the Tyrrhenian Sea in the background.

After reaching the summit of Mount Faito, you will have some free time before we start our descent. We will return to the vehicle and drop you off at the meeting point after a total of 5 hours of activity.
