On this trekking route, we'll see the Sorrento Peninsula, the Gulf of Salerno, and the Tyrrhenian Sea from Mount Faito's summit – an ideal plan for nature and trekking lovers!
Mount Faito Hike
At the designated time, we'll pick you up from Piazza Unità d'Italia, 21 in Castellammare di Stabia and begin the drive to the Lattari Mountains Regional Park.
After about an hour's drive, we'll head to Mount Faito. The activity starts with a cable car ride of approximately 7 minutes to reach the summit.
From the upper station, we'll embark on a 1.5-hour hiking route through lush beech forests, allowing us to discover local fauna.
The hike covers a total distance of 5 miles (8 km), leading us to the mountain's peak. Along the route, there are several viewpoints offering sights of the Sorrento Peninsula and Mount Vesuvius, with the sparkling waters of the Tyrrhenian Sea in the background.
After reaching the summit of Mount Faito, you'll have some free time before we begin our descent. We will return to the vehicle and drop you off at the meeting point after 5 hours of activity.
