Pompeii, Amalfi + Ravello Day Trip

Discover the archaeological site of Pompeii and the picturesque towns of Amalfi and Ravello on this day trip around Campania!

Description

On the day of the activity, we'll meet at the indicated time on Via Roma, before beginning this trip to three iconic sites on the Amalfi Coast.

Our first stop will be at Pompeii, an ancient Roman city, which was buried by the eruption of Mount Vesuvius in 79 AD. An audio guide in English will provide information about this tragedy.

During our visit, explore the Amphitheatre of Pompeii, Domus, Theatre, Baths, Forum, and the frescoes and mosaics. Notable sites include the House of the Faun, House of the Tragic Poet, and Lupanar.

After exploring Pompeii, we'll proceed to the Amalfi Coast, specifically Amalfi. There, enjoy 2 hours of free time to explore its charming streets, the Cathedral of Saint Andrew the Apostle, and local shops, along with views of the colourful houses from the harbour.

Next, we will visit Ravello, offering 40 minutes of free time to enjoy views at Villa Rufolo or the infinite terrace of Villa Cimbrone.

We will return to the starting point in Pompeii, concluding this trip after 7 hours.
