Tour Details

We'll meet at the scheduled time at the Pompeii Heliport to start our private helicopter ride. This experience includes flying over the Pompeii archaeological site and Mount Vesuvius. Charles III ordered the excavations in 1748, revealing Pompeii, a Unesco World Heritage Site filled with charming villas and temples adorned with frescoes and mosaics.

Next, we'll head to Vesuvius National Park, known for its eruption that destroyed Herculaneum, Stabiae, and Oplontis. The surrounding vast green land features a rich biodiversity and a fascinating ecosystem. You can explore this stunning landscape to uncover its natural beauty!

From the helicopter windows, you'll gaze at the volcanic cone, its crater, and the majestic Valle del Gigante on the right, along with the beautiful Mount Somma on your left. These views will be remarkable!

Finally, we'll return to our starting point after our 40-minute ride.

The type of helicopter varies by group size. For a group of up to 3 people, the tour utilizes the "Robinson 44" model. For groups of 5 people, the "AS 350 Ecureuil" model will be used.
