If you've just arrived in Ponferrada and you're not sure where to start, we've got it covered! On our free walking tour of Ponferrada, you'll explore the most iconic sights and monuments of this historic Spanish city.
Free Walking Tour of Ponferrada
At the scheduled time, we'll meet at the entry ramp to Ponferrada Castle, next to the Church of San Andrés. We'll start with the Order of the Temple and its castle, an iconic symbol of Ponferrada.
We'll then stroll to the Casa de los Escudos, the ancestral home of the García de Llanas family, which houses the Luis del Olmo Radio Museum since 2003.
Our tour continues to Clock Street, home of the Old Prison and the Museum of Bierzo. We will also pass by the Town Hall and La Encina Squares.
After an hour of sightseeing, our walking tour will conclude as we return to the starting point.
