We will meet at the entrance ramps to the Templar Castle of Ponferrada, next to the Church of San Andrés, at the scheduled time.

The exploration of the castle will reveal its fascinating history, particularly its ownership by the Order of the Knights Templar. The tour will include discussions on the origins of this religious and military organization and its associations with the El Bierzo area.

As we navigate the castle, we will ascend to the top of its defensive towers for views of Ponferrada and the surrounding mountains. After enjoying the scenery, we will continue our visit to other sections of the castle, appreciating its vastness.

After an hour and a half of exploring this impressive monument, our guided tour will conclude at the foot of the Moclín Tower. You may then continue to explore other areas of the fortress at your own pace.
