At the indicated time, we'll meet at João Bosco Mota Amaral Avenue in Ponta Delgada and board a jeep or minibus to drive to the coastal town of Vila Franca do Campo. This village is popular for the volcanic islet visible from its port.

We'll discover the island's nature as we head to its interior. Our first major stop will be Furnas, a town within a volcanic caldera, where we will see its bubbling pools and other natural features.

Afterwards, we'll enjoy a traditional lunch at a local restaurant. Our final destination will be Gorreana's tea plantations to sample one of the island's renowned teas.

Finally, after 8 hours of touring, we'll return to Ponta Delgada.
