At 9 am, we'll meet at Avenida João Bosco Mota Amaral, in Ponta Delgada, and head by minibus to Lagoa das Furnas, a lagoon located in the ancient crater of a volcano.

We'll hop into the kayaks and begin our tour of Lagoa das Furnas. The area features boiling water calderas, fumaroles, and Macaronesian vegetation, indicative of the volcanic environment.

After two hours of kayaking, we'll visit a nearby restaurant for a traditional cocido lunch prepared using the heat from the soil. Following lunch, we will proceed to Terra Nostra Park, known for its diverse botanical collection.

Terra Nostra is home to plants from various exotic regions. You'll enjoy a guided tour of the park to learn about its highlights and biodiversity. You can also take a relaxing bath in Terra Nostra's thermal pool.

Finally, we'll return to Ponta Delgada, concluding the tour at 4.30 pm.
