At 9 am, we'll meet at Avenida João Bosco Mota Amaral, in Ponta Delgada, and head by minibus to Lagoa das Furnas, a lagoon located in the ancient crater of a volcano.

We'll hop into the kayaks and begin our tour of Lagoa das Furnas. From boiling water calderas, fumaroles, to Macaronesian vegetation surrounding Lagoa das Furnas will remind us of the volcanic environment.

After two hours of kayaking, we'll head to a nearby restaurant to enjoy a traditional cocido made using the heat from the soil. Following lunch, we'll visit Terra Nostra Park, known for its botanical diversity.

Terra Nostra is home to plants from various regions worldwide. You'll enjoy a guided tour of the park to learn about its highlights and biodiversity. Additionally, you can take a relaxing bath in Terra Nostra's thermal pool as a concluding activity for this tour.

Finally, we'll return to Ponta Delgada, concluding the tour at 4:30 pm.
