Nordeste Tour & Faial da Terra Hiking Tour

Pickup will be at your hotel in Ponta Delgada at 9 am. We will drive to Faial da Terra to begin the hiking route.

The hike includes passing through vegetation and mountains, including Sanguinho, an abandoned village rebuilt to restore its charm. We will continue to the Salto do Prego waterfall, where you'll have time to explore and swim, as well as enjoy a picnic lunch that includes a sandwich, cake, fruit, juice, and water.

After lunch, we will walk back to Faial da Terra for free time to explore the old fishing harbour before boarding the bus to Nordeste.

In Nordeste, the landscapes feature green cliffs with flowers. We will stop at Ponta do Sossego and Vista dos Barcos viewpoints to admire the natural beauty.

Our final stop will be the Ribeira dos Caldeirões Natural Park, where you can see waterfalls, some up to 131 feet tall (40 metres).

We will return to the starting point at approximately 4:30 pm.
