We'll pick you up at your hotel in Ponta Delgada at 9 am and drive to Faial da Terra, where we'll begin our hiking route.

We'll walk through vegetation and mountains, passing by Sanguinho, a village abandoned in the '70s, now rebuilt. Afterward, we'll continue to the Salto do Prego waterfall, allowing time to enjoy the surroundings and take a dip if desired. A picnic lunch will be provided, including a sandwich, cake, fruit, juice, and water.

After lunch, we'll walk back to Faial da Terra, where you'll have free time to explore the old fishing harbour before boarding the bus to Nordeste.

Marvel at the landscapes of green cliffs covered with flowers surrounding this town. Ponta do Sossego and Vista dos Barcos are key highlights, and we will stop at these viewpoints to appreciate the natural beauty.

Our next stop will be the Ribeira dos Caldeirões Natural Park, showcasing numerous waterfalls, some reaching heights of 131 feet (40 meters).

We will return to the starting point at approximately 4:30 pm.
