Day Trip Details

At the scheduled time, meet at João Bosco Mota Amaral Avenue in Ponta Delgada to begin the trip to the coast of São Miguel. The route includes visits to charming fishing villages such as Ribeira Grande, with a brief stop, followed by the Santa Iria viewpoint.

Next, we head to Ribeira dois Caldeirões for a delightful lunch at a local restaurant to experience regional flavors.

We will then travel to Nordeste, where from a nearby viewpoint, we will see the Arnel Lighthouse.

The journey continues to other notable viewpoints in Nordeste, including Ponta do Sossego and Ponta da Madrugada, before arriving at the coastal village of Povoação.

Finally, we return to Ponta Delgada, passing through the Salto do Cavalo viewpoint for a view of Lagoa das Furnas.
