Description

We'll meet at the scheduled time on Avenida João Bosco Mota Amaral in Ponta Delgada. From there, we'll travel in an all-terrain jeep towards the east of the island.

After a half-hour drive, we'll reach our first stop: Pico da Barrosa, where we'll enjoy a view of Lagoa do Fogo, formed over a volcanic caldera after its last eruption in 1563.

We'll proceed to Ribeira Grande to learn about the town's history and the culture of the Azores.

Next, we'll visit Sete Cidades, where the formation of the Blue and Green Lakes will be explained. This area is a major attraction in the Azorean archipelago.

We'll then have a buffet lunch at a local restaurant. After lunch, we will return to the jeep and make a brief stop at Lagoa de Santiago before heading back to Ponta Delgada.

The tour concludes after 8 hours of exploration as we return to the starting point.
