Description

We'll meet at the scheduled time on Avenida João Bosco Mota Amaral in Ponta Delgada. From here, we'll board an all-terrain jeep and proceed east on the island.

After a half-hour drive, our first stop is Pico da Barrosa, where we will have a view of Lagoa do Fogo, a lake formed over a volcanic caldera after its last eruption in 1563.

Next, we will head to Ribeira Grande to learn about the town's history and the culture of the Azores.

We will then visit Sete Cidades, where we will explain the formation of the Blue and Green Lakes, a major attraction of the Azorean archipelago.

Following this, we will enjoy a buffet lunch at a local restaurant. Afterwards, we will return to the jeep, with a brief stop at Lagoa de Santiago, before heading back to Ponta Delgada.

The tour concludes after 8 hours of exploration.
