Description
After meeting at Avenida João Bosco Mota Amaral in Ponta Delgada, we will walk to the Ponta Delgada port to board the boat for a journey along the south coast of the island.
A wildlife guide specializing in the wildlife of the Azores will explain the habits of the whales, dolphins, and other marine mammals in the Atlantic Ocean. Participants will learn about their lifestyle and have the opportunity to see them swim close to the boat.
The tour will highlight how marine mammals in Sao Miguel utilize ocean currents for their journeys across the Atlantic, often swimming alongside their species. After this memorable experience, the boat will return to Ponta Delgada port.
