At the chosen time, we'll meet at a central point to board a minibus and head to our launch point where the kayaks will be ready.

Before paddling, a brief presentation on safe equipment use will be provided. Then, we will get into the kayaks and set sail on the Vez River.

For 3 hours, we will explore the beautiful landscapes of Arcos de Valdevez from the water, experiencing lush vegetation and navigating through areas of rapids for an adrenaline rush. If you lack kayaking experience, we will also paddle through calm water areas to enjoy unique views of the Peneda-Gerês National Park.

Finally, we will finish the activity and return to the original starting point in Arcos de Valdevez.

Itinerary Changes

Until October 2024, due to low flow in the Vez River, our 3-hour route will take place on the Limia River instead. We'll meet at Bravães Kayak Park, where you will receive your kayaks to explore the serene waters of this border river.
