Kayak tour on the Vez River

At your chosen time, we will meet at a central point and board a minibus to the launch point where the kayaks will be ready. A brief presentation on safe and effective equipment use will be provided before we set off on the Vez River.

For 3 hours, we will explore the landscapes of Arcos de Valdevez from the water, including areas of rapids for an adrenaline rush. For those without kayaking experience, we will paddle through calm waters to enjoy views of the Peneda-Gerês National Park.

After kayaking, we will return to the original starting point in Arcos de Valdevez.

Itinerary Changes

Until October 2024, due to low river flow, our 3-hour route will take place on the Limia River instead. We will meet at Bravães Kayak Park to receive kayaks for exploring the serene waters of this border river.
