At the time you choose, we'll meet at a central point where we'll board a minibus and head to our launch point where the kayaks will be waiting for us.

Before we start paddling, we will give you a brief presentation on how to use the equipment safely and effectively. Then it is time to get into the kayaks and set sail on the waters of the Vez River.

For 3 hours we will explore the landscapes of Arcos de Valdevez from the water. You will experience areas of rapids that guarantee a rush of adrenaline. If you lack experience, we will also paddle through calmer waters to enjoy views of the Peneda-Gerês National Park.

Finally, we will leave the kayaks and take you back to the original starting point of the activity in Arcos de Valdevez.

Itinerary Changes

Until October 2024, due to the low flow of the Vez River, our 3-hour route will take place on the Limia River instead. We'll meet at Bravães Kayak Park, where you'll receive your kayaks to explore the serene waters of this border river.
