Your boat to Ons Island will depart at the indicated time from the port of Pontevedra. After a journey of approximately one hour, you'll arrive at Ons, one of the oases that make up the Atlantic Islands of Galicia National Park. Once you disembark at the pier, you can enjoy this natural paradise at your leisure. One of the main attractions of the island of Ons is its paradisiacal Melide Beach. Different trails will also allow you to walk to the lighthouse, located in the island's interior.

Ons Island Visitors Permit

Ons Island is a protected area with a daily quota of visitors, and it is necessary to obtain authorization from the Xunta de Galicia. In high season (from May 15th to September 15th and Easter), you must bring your own authorization from the Xunta de Galicia to access Ons, which will be sent by email. For the rest of the year, the guide will bring it on the day of the tour. If you cannot attend the activity, you must provide at least 15 days' notice with the name of the absent person for the Xunta de Galicia to remove them from the list.

Guided Tour of Ons Island

From October 1 to May 14, the ferry ticket includes a one-hour guided tour of Ons Island. This tour is not offered during the 10 days of the Easter season, from the Friday before Easter to Easter Sunday.

The departure time from Ons Island to Pontevedra is at 7 pm. For returns on another day, please contact us. Note that on the following dates, the return times will be adjusted:
