Pontevedra Tour + Vigo Christmas Lights

In this tour of Pontevedra, we'll discover its historic centre and travel by boat to see the Christmas lights of Vigo.

Tour Details

We will meet at the designated time to start a tour around Pontevedra, which has received numerous international awards. The guided tour will take us through the oldest part of Pontevedra, including the cobblestone streets of the Plazas de La Verdura, La Leña, La Herrería, and La Peregrina. We will also walk part of the Portuguese way of the Camino de Santiago. Key sites will include the Iglesia de Santa María church, the Convent of San Francisco, and the Capilla de la Peregrina chapel, known for its scallop shell-shaped floor.

After exploring Pontevedra, we will travel to Moaña, where we will take a boat to Vigo, passing by the Cíes Islands and the village of Cangas. In the historic centre of Vigo, we will head to Calle Príncipe, where you will have 4 hours of free time to enjoy the Christmas lights of Vigo, featuring trees, giant baubles, and Christmas markets.

We will meet at the port of Vigo for the return boat trip, followed by transportation back to Pontevedra or Santiago de Compostela, arriving between 8 and 9 hours later.

Santiago de Compostela: at 2:30 pm in Plaza de Galicia, 2Pontevedra: at 4 pm at calle Alameda s/n (Alameda de Pontevedra), next to the restaurant "El Cafetín"
