Day Trip to the Coconuco Hot Springs

Trip Overview

You will be collected from your accommodation in Popayán at the scheduled time, embarking on a southeast journey for approximately an hour and a half until we arrive at the hot springs of Salinas in Coconuco.

Upon arrival, you will have four hours to immerse yourself in the hot springs, allowing you to connect with nature. Enjoy the therapeutic pools and discover the health benefits they offer. What are the unique medicinal qualities of these waters? You will soon uncover the answers!

As the day unfolds, based on your chosen timing, we’ll savor lunch or a snack. If you opt for a time slot between 7 am and 9 am, a traditional regional lunch will be offered, featuring a main dish paired with rice, salad, or soup. It’s a delight for the taste buds!

Alternatively, for those selecting the afternoon schedule, between 1 pm and 3 pm, a local snack with a refreshing soft drink awaits.

After replenishing your energy, we’ll return to your hotel in Popayán, concluding this enriching 7-hour journey.
