Our journey begins with a timely pickup from your hotel in Popayán. Though it requires an early start, the experience at the Archaeological Park of San Agustin promises to be immensely rewarding!

Following a scenic drive of approximately 2.5 hours in an all-terrain vehicle, we will pause briefly in the town of Isnos to savor a delicious traditional breakfast. After recharging, we will resume our travels toward the Archaeological Park of San Agustin, recognized as one of Colombia's most noteworthy archaeological destinations.

Upon arrival, we will engage in a guided exploration of the archaeological site, revealing intriguing aspects of the pre-Columbian cultures. It is fascinating to note that this park is designated as a World Heritage Site.

As we navigate through San Agustin, you will encounter over 500 stone sculptures, skillfully carved from volcanic rock, located in the upper basin of the Magdalena River. This remarkable area is regarded as the largest megalithic ensemble and the most extensive necropolis in the Americas.

After completing a 4-hour in-depth tour, we will visit a local restaurant to indulge in a meal featuring a main dish, along with rice, soup, or salad. Following this refreshing break, we will begin our return journey to Popayán.
