Travel to the Salvajina Reservoir and discover the nature of the Cauca River in a different way with this excursion from Popayán. We'll take you on a boat ride and you'll have free time to swim.

Salvajina Reservoir Tour

At 8 am, pickup will be at your hotel in Popayán for a journey north to the Salvajina Reservoir in the Cauca river basin.

After a two-and-a-half-hour drive, we will explore the area, beginning with a visit to the Salvajina waterfall and a viewpoint for panoramic photos of the reservoir.

The next part of the tour features a boat ride around the dam, where a guide will provide insights about its construction and its significance to the indigenous communities of the region.

Upon returning to land, a traditional meal featuring fish, chicken, or grilled meat will be served. The tour concludes with free time to swim in the Salvajina Reservoir.

At 5 pm, we will regroup for the return trip to Popayán, concluding the tour at approximately 7 pm.
