We will follow in the footsteps of the revolutionary leader on his crusade through Bolivia on this 3-day tour along the Che Guevara route. You will see places like La Higuera.

Che Guevara route 3 Day Tour

Day 1: Santa Cruz - Samaipata - Vallegrande

At 6:00 am, we will pick you up at your hotel in Santa Cruz de la Sierra to start our tour along the Che Guevara route, following the path of the revolutionary leader and the Bolivian National Liberation Army (ELN).

We’ll first head to Samaipata to visit the Fort of Samaipata, an important archaeological site. Afterward, we will tour a museum housing artefacts from the excavations and then have lunch in Vallegrande, including a starter and a main course. In the afternoon, we’ll visit the washing place of the hospital Nuestro Señor de Malta and the Che monument and museum. We will conclude the day with dinner and rest at the hotel.

Day 2: Vallegrande - Pucara - La Higuera

At 7:00 am, we will have breakfast and depart for La Higuera, where Che was captured. We will travel along the Che route, stopping at Pucara, mentioned in Che's Diary. Upon arrival at La Higuera, we’ll visit the school where Che was imprisoned and executed on October 9, 1968. After lunch, we will return to Vallegrande.

Day 3: Vallegrande - Santa Cruz

On the last day, after breakfast, we will return to Santa Cruz de la Sierra, arriving around 4:00 pm.

Tour ending in Sucre

For those wishing to continue to Sucre, the itinerary remains the same for the first two days, with overnight stay in Villa Serrano. On the third day, after breakfast at 8:00 am, we will head to Sucre, stopping in Tomina to see an 18th-century church and for lunch. We expect to arrive in Sucre around 2:00 pm.
