On our Güembé Biocentre Day Trip, you'll explore an important facility dedicated to the protection of animals and plants, located just 15 minutes from Santa Cruz de la Sierra.

Güembé Biocentre Day Trip

We will pick you up from your hotel at 10 am and head to the Güembé Biocentre. Upon arrival, you will learn about the centre's philosophy regarding animal welfare and its environmental education programme aimed at promoting ecological conservation.

You will stroll through the park's paths and visit major attractions, including Monkey Island, the organic vegetable garden, the aviary, the butterfly house, and the orchid house. There will be free time to swim in the natural pools within the biocentre.

A lunch break will be provided at one of the onsite restaurants before we return to Santa Cruz, where you will be dropped off at your hotel by 5 pm.

Self-guided tour

If you prefer to explore at your own pace, you can opt for a self-guided tour. This includes hotel pickup and a 2-hour talk from a local guide. After that, you will have the freedom to explore the park independently and enjoy its natural pools and lagoons.
